Questions

Answers to what senior leaders askbefore they join.

If something is not covered here, write to us directly. The honest answer is usually the short one.

Do I need to play tennis?

No. The on-court sessions are designed for all levels — beginner to competitive. Exercises scale to you. The tennis is the vehicle, not the test.

Does the order of the workshops matter?

No. Each of the three workshops — Holding Your Ground, Making It Land, and Leading Performance — is designed to stand alone. You can attend in any order, and each will be complete in itself. That said, participants who attend all three often find that the sequence builds naturally, and we can advise on order at inquiry based on where you want to focus first.

Can I attend the Leadership Lab as a standalone experience?

Absolutely. The Leadership Lab delivers significant value on its own. It also provides an excellent foundation for those considering one or all of the three Winning Edge Series retreats.

Who else will be in the room?

Each cohort is capped at 12. Participants are typically C-suite and senior leadership — CEOs, MDs, COOs, and managing partners. We discuss cohort composition at inquiry.

What happens when I inquire?

You'll receive a short response within 48 hours to schedule a 20-minute call with one of the coaches — no hard sell, just a conversation to see if it's the right fit.

What is the time commitment beyond the workshop?

The workshop runs Friday afternoon to Sunday lunch — that is the program. There is a short pre-workshop call — about 20 minutes — so we understand your context before you arrive, and follow-up materials afterwards. No assignments, no reading lists, no homework.

Can I send someone from my team instead of attending myself?

The program is designed for people who hold senior accountability — those who are the decision-maker in the room, not preparing to become one. If you are asking on behalf of someone on your team, we are happy to discuss whether the program is the right fit for them. If you are asking whether to attend yourself or delegate: the work only lands if you are in the room.

Can my company sponsor the investment?

Yes. Most participants attend as part of an L&D budget. We can provide documentation to support internal approval. Multi-workshop bookings can also be discussed at inquiry.

Is this confidential?

Completely. What is said in the room stays in the room. Participants are asked to respect the same boundary. We do not share cohort lists, company names, or any detail of what surfaces during the workshop. The quotes on this site are shared with explicit permission and lightly anonymized.

Can I attend more than one workshop?

Yes. Each workshop stands alone, but many participants attend all three across the year. The three workshops cover different dimensions of performance under pressure, and the full series is designed to be taken together over time. Multi-workshop pricing can be discussed at inquiry.

What if I have a physical limitation or do not feel confident on a tennis court?

This comes up often, and it is never a barrier. The on-court sessions are structured exercises, not tennis matches. They are adapted to the group in the room — including anyone with physical considerations. If you have something specific, mention it when you inquire and we will talk it through.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

If you have your own tennis or padel racket, we recommend bringing it — you will play better with what you know. If not, we provide rackets. Bring sport shoes suitable for outdoor play.

Is there a dress code?

Casual and comfortable. Outdoor sport shoes for the on-court work, and warm, weatherproof layers for physical activity in the unpredictable weather of Northern Ireland.

What if the weather is bad?

We have covered or indoor options to keep the on-court work going through rain. The program runs as planned regardless of the forecast.
